Atinuke Kolade

Group Company Secretary

Atinuke Kolade is a seasoned legal professional with over 18 years of experience as a solicitor and barrister of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, spanning multiple key industries, including power, oil and gas, financial services, and healthcare, showcasing her expertise in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and medico-legal advisory. She has a proven track record of driving organizational growth and optimizing governance frameworks across complex corporate structures.

In her former capacity as Group Head, Retention and Growth at Avon HMO, she led strategic initiatives that yielded significant growth for the organisation as she was pivotal in driving portfolio management and revenue growth. She was also instrumental during her tenure as the Subsidiary Governance Officer at Heirs Holdings which was marked by transformative achievements.

She is an alumnus of the University of Ibadan and the Lagos Business School, Atinuke is an active member of the Nigerian Bar Association and holds various certifications in governance and compliance.

Christopher Ezeafulukwe

Non-Executive Director

Christopher Ezeafulukwe is the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Transcorp Energy Limited. Prior to his appointment, he served as the MD/CEO of Abuja Electricity Distribution Company, MD/CEO of Transcorp Power Plc, and as an Executive Director of Transnational Corporation Plc, where he was responsible for Business Development and Legal. He was also a Non-Executive Director at Transcorp Power Plc.

With over 19 years of experience, he is responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategic initiatives for Transcorp Energy Limited. His responsibilities include overseeing the company’s operations, driving growth in the energy sector, and ensuring the alignment of business objectives with regulatory requirements.

He is an alumnus of Lagos Business School, Lagos, and IESE Business School, Barcelona. He holds an LL.B degree from the University of Lagos, a B.L from the Nigerian Law School, an LL.M from the University of Lagos, and a second LL.M in Energy, Environmental & Natural Resources Law from the University of Houston, Texas. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN), Association of International Petroleum.

Faith Tuedor – Matthews, OFR

Independent Non-Executive Director

Ms Faith Tuedor-Matthews, OFR is an accomplished and visionary leader with a career spanning over three decades in the financial sector Her illustrious career began at UBA in 1984, where she embarked on her professional journey during her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) service. She joined Ecobank Transnational Incorporated in 1991, where she rose to the position of General Manager.

She returned to UBA in 2005 as an Executive Director and was subsequently appointed Deputy Managing Director in 2008. She left UBA in 2011 to assume the role of Group Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Mainstreet Bank Plc, a position she occupied till December 2014. She currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of TEKLA Factoring & Finance Ltd (a CBN-Regulated Finance House).

She is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School, BPP University Law School, London UK, Staffordshire University, Staffordshire, UK, and Aston University,  UK, where she obtained an MBA in General Management.  She is also a Chartered Banker.

Stanley Chikwendu

Group Company Secretary

Stanley is the Company Secretary and Legal Counsel of Transcorp Power Plc. Before his appointment, he served as the Company Secretary and Head of Legal at Heirs Life Assurance Limited, a member of the Heirs Holdings Group. 

He has over 20 years of experience across diverse sectors including financial services, real estate, energy, and hospitality.  

He also served as Company Secretary and Head of Legal and Corporate Services at both Law Union & Rock Insurance Plc and Tangerine General Insurance Limited. 

Stanley is an alumnus of the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, the University of Leicester, England, and the Lagos Business School. 

He is a Chartered Secretary, and a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, International Bar Association, and Association of Corporate Counsel. 

 

Ken Nnadi

Head, Procurement

Ken Nnadi is a Lean Supply Chain Leader with extensive lean expertise in Sourcing, Managing Tasks, Projects and Resources from inception to completion.

He has over 20 years’ experience with broad knowledge of Procurement, Logistics management and entire Supply Chain Management functions that promote efficiency, productivity, operation within budgets, performance optimization and optimal customer satisfaction in Oil & Gas and Energy sectors.

Ken holds a PhD in Marketing (Specialty in Lean Supply Chain Management) from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, MSc with merit in Operations and Supply Chain Management from University of Liverpool, UK and MBA in Management from University of Calabar. He is a Chartered member of The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply, UK (MCIPS – 005424388).

He is currently the Head, Procurement at Transcorp Power Plc.

Adelukuman Ishola

Head, Health, Safety, Security and Environment

Lukuman Ishola – Lukuman is the Head, Health, Safety, Security and Environment at Transcorp Power Limited. He holds a B.TECH in Chemical/Petrochemical Engineering from Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Highly accomplished and versatile Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE) professional with a proven track record of excellence across multiple sectors. With over 12 years of extensive hands-on experience, have consistently demonstrated a steadfast commitment to promoting a culture of health, safety, security, and environmental responsibility within diverse organizational settings. Prior to joining Transcorp Power Limited, he worked as the HSE Manager First Independent Power Limited and HSE Supervisor with SPIE Oil & Gas Services.

Lukuman Ishola is a member of Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria and American Society of Safety Professionals.

Oluwafemi Sogunle

Head, Internal Audit

Oluwafemi Sogunle – Oluwafemi Sogunle is the Head, Internal Audit for Transcorp Power Plc. Oluwafemi provides high-level strategic support to our Executive Management. Oluwafemi possesses over 11 years’ professional experience gained from various fields. His core competencies are internal audit, control, compliance, risk management, accounting advisory and corporate governance. Oluwafemi holds a B.Sc. degree in Accounting (Second class upper) from the University of Lagos Akoka, He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ACA) and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). Prior to joining Transcorp Power Ltd, Oluwafemi worked at Food Concepts Plc as an Internal Audit Manager, Law Union and Rock Insurance Plc Now Tangerine General Insurance as an Internal Audit Associate and Olajide Oyewole LLP (a member of DLA Piper Africa) as a Financial Accountant amongst others.

Aniebiet Umoh

Head, Operations

Aniebiet Umoh – Aniebiet is the Head, Operations at Transcorp Power. He holds an OND and HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from Rivers State Polytechnic, Bori, Rivers State. Thereafter, he attended the Maritime Academy of Nigeria, Oron for his post graduate degree in Shipping Technology. He also holds PGD in power management from the revered University of Petroleum & Energy Studies, India. Prior to joining Transcorp Power Plc, he worked as Operations General Service Supervisor before he rose to become Operations Manager with Ibom Power Limited. He has over 12 years’ experience in the power sector. Aniebiet Umoh is a member of the Institute of asset management (IAM), Nigeria institute of Management(NIM) and Nigeria Association of Technologies in Engineering (NATE).

Tambi Minasechimbo

Chief Technical Officer

Tambi Minasechimbo – Tambi is a highly experienced and skilled electrical engineer with over 21 years of experience in the power generation industry. He has a proven track record of success in a variety of roles, including generator specialist, electrical engineer, and project manager.

Tambi’s expertise includes, Gas turbine installation and commissioning, Generator stator/field rewind, High/medium voltage switchyards, Electric motors, Excitation systems, Gas turbine maintenance, Transformer test, General inspections.

Tambi has led numerous successful projects while with General Electric in the United States of America, France, Switzerland, UAE, Qatar, Tunisia, Chad, Ghana, Morocco, Mali, Cote d’Ivoire, Algeria, and Nigeria. Some of his notable achievements include, the first complete generator stator rewind done onsite on an asbestos insulated stator bars (hydrogen cooled) in Nigeria, the first in the history of General Electric company, the installation of a universal bracket of a flux probe to a round key bar in five different power plants in Tunisia.

Tambi has won numerous awards while with General Electric and Field Core Service Solutions, a GE-owned company. He is a certified Generator Specialist and Electrical technical adviser with General Electric, having successfully completed the prestigious generator specialist training at the GE Energy Learning Centre in Schenectady New York and Houston learning center all in the United States.

Tambi holds a degree in Electrical engineering from the Rivers state university, a Project Management Professional with capacity to manage projects from conception to closure within the constraints and meeting stakeholder satisfaction, a registered member of Nigeria society of engineers (NSE)/Council for the regulations of engineering in Nigeria (COREN), an alumnus of the prestigious Lagos Business School and Lean Six sigma Certified.
Tambi is currently the Chief Technical Officer at Transcorp Power Plc, where he is responsible for ensuring the continued optimal health of the Transcorp Power Plant.

In addition to his technical skills, Tambi is also a highly effective communicator and leader. He is passionate about his work and is committed to improving lives and transforming Africa.

Tambi is a highly qualified and experienced electrical engineer with a proven track record of success. He is a valuable asset to Transcorp group and is well-positioned for continued success in his career.

Osemonahu Ikhisemon – Oje

Head, Human Resources

Ose is the Head of Human Resources at Transcorp Power Plc. His career began with Doheney Services Limited- a Human Resources Management consulting company as Human Resources Officer before moving on to Nosak Group, a leading Nigerian conglomerate based in Lagos State, as Human Resources Manager. He went on to work as HR Manager for Macmahon Contractors- an Australian Mining/Construction Multinational – before moving on to African Pits & Quarries Limited as Head, Human Resources. He has attended numerous courses both in Nigeria and United Kingdom. Ose Ikhisemon-Oje is well-versed in Nigerian and international labor laws and regulations, and has extensive experience in training, coaching, mentoring, office administration, performance evaluation, and apprenticeship or graduate trainee program establishment and management. He is passionate about people and connecting their professional aspirations with the corporate objectives of their employers. Ose holds a Bachelors’ degree in Agricultural Economics from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo state and an M.Sc in Economics from University of Lagos. He is also an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria.

Evans Okpogoro

Chief Finance Officer

Evans Okpogoro (CFO) – Evans is the Chief Finance Officer of TPP. He is a Chartered Accountant with 16 years experience in the Financial Services and Oil & Gas sector. Prior to joining Transcorp Power, Evans was the Financial Controller, WhiteDove Shipping Company Limited (a subsidiary of Nestoil) and has served in different capacities in Nestoil and its subsidiaries. He also served in other various reputable organizations like Keystone Bank, Kedari Capital Limited and ServArmour Limited. Evans earned a B.Sc. in Accounting from Delta State University, where he was named Best Graduate by the Head of Department. He holds an MBA in Finance from Obafemi Awolowo University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) and the Institute of Chartered Taxation of Nigeria (FCTI). Evans specializes in Audit, Financial Reporting, Business Intelligence, Partnership and Decision Support, IFRS, Tax, Business Performance Improvement, Budgeting and Control, Business Planning and Analysis, Business Development and Strategy, Project Management, Treasury, and Risk Management.

Oluwaseun Fadare

Chief Technical Officer

Oluwaseun Fadare (CTO) – Oluwaseun is the Chief Technical Officer of TPP. Prior to joining TPL, Oluwaseun served as the Ag. Chief Operating Officer of Olorunsogo Generation Company Limited. He also worked as an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Manager (Plant Manager) and COO support of Benin Generation Company Limited, Ihovbor, Edo State, Shift lead and training officer at Omotosho Power Station, Omotosho, Ondo State, and a mechanical maintenance engineer at Kainji Hydro Electric Plc, Kainji in Niger State. Oluwaseun has extensive experience in engineering, maintenance, and operations. His areas of specialization include managing the operations and maintenance of gas turbine thermal power plants, as well as hydro power generation systems. He holds a Ph.D. Technology Management, an M.Sc. Technology Management and B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering, all from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife Nigeria. He also holds a certificate in sustainable Business Strategy from Harvard Business School.

He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Power Engineers (NIPE), a Corporate Member of the Council for Regulation of Engineers in Nigeria (COREN) and Member of Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).

Mr. Vincent Ozoude

Non-Executive Director

Vincent Ozoude joined the Group on February 1st, 2021, as the MD/CEO Trans Afam Power Limited. His is leading the transformation of the 966MW power plant in Afam, Oyigbo, Rivers State, into a leading power generation company in West Africa. With over 15 years of experience at General Electric, he held various positions in services, operations, and sales, covering Sub-Saharan Africa. Vincent is recognized for leading complex projects and received multiple awards for his expertise and integrity. He has a degree in Chemical Engineering and is completing a Master’s in the same field. He is a member of the Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE), the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and is Green belt (lean six sigma) certified.

Mr. Risqua Muhammed

Non-Executive Director

Mr. Risqua Murtala Muhammed joined the Board on 6 November 2012. He graduated from University of Lagos with a B.Sc in Banking and Finance and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration at the Prestigious Cardiff Business School of University of Wales. Thereafter, joined Asset Management Group as a Marketing Officer and rose to the Position of Executive Director of Marketing & Business Development before becoming the Group Managing Director of AMG Petroenergy Limited.

ENGR.CHARLES-ODITAS

Engr. Charles Odita

He is currently the Managing Director/Chief Consultant of Tibco Limited. Prior to this, he served as Vice President – Technical Operations at Nomier Group Holdings Limited. He had also served as the Group Managing Director at Midwestern Oil and Gas Ltd, Lagos, and has been the Group Chief Operating Officer at Notore Chemical Industries Limited. He spent his early career years at Shell Petroleum Development Company Limited, occupying various positions across operations, research, and drilling. 

Mr Odita is an alumnus of the University of Benin, where he obtained B.Eng. (First Class Honours) and M.Eng. degrees in Chemical Engineering. He is a Chartered Engineer and holds the Fellowship of the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers as well as the Nigerian Society of Engineers, amongst others.

Mr. Peter Hertog

Non-Executive Director
Mr. Peter Hertog joined the Board on 6 November 2012. He is the CEO of Thomassen Group of Companies, a Dutch energy supporting business for Africa, Middle East, and Pakistan. He has over 30 years of experience in the energy industry, including working for Thomassen International BV, a globally operating OEM supplier of gas turbines and gas compressors. Thomassen also owns and operates specialized GT component repair workshop facilities in Dubai and Oman and maintains over 1,500 MW of thermal power plants using GE-type gas turbines.

Dr. Owen Omogiafo OON.

Non-Executive Director

Dr. Owen Omogiafo OON is the President and Group CEO of Transcorp Plc. She has over 15 years of experience in the corporate sector, with a focus on human resources, management, and strategy. Prior to her appointment at Transcorp, she held senior positions at the Tony Elumelu Foundation and Heirs Holdings Limited. She is a certified Change Manager and a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, the Prosci Institute, and the Institute of Directors (IoD) Nigeria.

Adim Jibunoh

Non-Executive Director

Mr. Adim Jibunoh joined the Board on 1 July 2017. He is a First-Class graduate of Economics from the University of Port Harcourt and has a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Lagos.

His career in the financial and non-financial services sector spans over three decades. The positions he has held include Executive Director at Standard Trust Bank Plc, the Chief Executive Officer of Continental Trust Bank and President/CEO of Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc

Peter Ikenga

Managing Director/CEO

Peter Ikenga currently serves as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Transcorp Power Plc. As the MD/CEO of Transcorp Power, he is resolutely committed to advancing the transformation of the Ughelli Power Plant, with the ultimate goal of establishing it as the leading power generation company in Nigeria and the broader West African region.

Peter is a value-driven and result-oriented oil and gas professional with a wealth of global experience, having directly developed or managed major oil, gas, and power assets and operations in multiple regions including Nigeria, Brazil, and the United States of America. Prior to joining Transcorp, he was Refining Director for Niger Delta Exploration and Production Limited.

Peter’s oil and gas industry experience spans upstream, midstream, and downstream. He previously held senior technical, business, and commercial leadership positions in new business/asset development, project management, engineering management, and operations support. His roles include developing multi-billion-dollar projects, managing non-operated asset portfolios, overseeing strategic acquisition opportunities, negotiating contracts and strategic partnerships, optimizing production operations, and leading the full execution, construction, and commissioning of major projects.

Peter earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Owerri, Nigeria, and a Master of Business Administration degree from The University of Texas at Austin, United States of America.

Emmanuel N. Nnorom

Chairman

Mr. Emmanuel N. Nnorom joined the Board of Transcorp Power on 30 January 2014. He is the Group Chief Executive Officer of Heirs Holdings Limited. He previously served as President/CEO of Transcorp Plc, overseeing the Transcorp businesses. Prior to Transcorp, Emmanuel served as an Executive Director and Managing Director at United Bank for Africa (UBA)

Emmanuel is a qualified Chartered Accountant and brings over three decades of professional experience in the corporate and financial sectors, working with publicly listed companies.

Deshola Shittu

Head, Marketing & Corporate Communications

Deshola is the Head of Marketing and Corporate Communication for Transcorp Power Plc. She is an accomplished Marketing & Communications professional with over 15 years of hands-on experience in the Financial Services Industry. She has a strong background in strategic marketing, digital marketing, and corporate communications. She has also worked as a Project Manager in multi-location and cross-functional contexts.

Prior to this role, Adeshola worked as the Head of Digital & Insights for Coronation. She also worked as the Head of Digital Media at United Bank for Africa (UBA) where she worked on different marketing strategies and digital initiatives to transform the bank’s perception and grow its customer base. Adeshola was also a member of the Marketing team at Interswitch – Verve International, where she was very instrumental in driving direct marketing and customer engagement. She has worked with other financial institutions namely Keystone Bank and PR agency, Cushion the Impact, UK

Deshola holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Babcock University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Nigerian Institute of Marketing, and an MA in Marketing Communications from the University of Westminster. She is also a Google AdWords Certified Professional.
