Oluwafemi Isikaye

Head, Operations and Maintenance

Femi is the Head of Maintenance for Transafam Power Limited with over 17 years of technical and commercial experience in the Substation Installation and Commissioning, Power Plant Operation and Maintenance of heavy-duty Turbines/BOP, (Siemens, Hitachi, Alstom, Brush and GE).
 
Prior to joining Transafam, Oluwafemi worked as group Technical Quality Manager for Transcorp Power, he also Head the Electrical Maintenance department for Omotosho, Generating Company Limited, Ondo State, Nigeria and also worked in different capacities while in Egbin Power Station. He was the Project Electrical Engineer in Valenz Holdings Limited where he was involved in projects like the 2X132KV line bay extension at Alaoji substation. He also worked with Jemray Nigeria Limited as a Field Electrical Engineer.
 
Oluwafemi holds a B.Sc. Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Power Option) from Olabisi Onabanjo University and a Masters of Technology, Project Management from the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA).
 
Femi is a certified member of the Institute of Electrical Electronic Engineering (IEEE), Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Council for Regulations of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), Nigerian Institution of Power Engineers (NIPE), the International Association of Engineers (IAENG) and Lean Six sigma Certified.

Matthew Oyetunde Olaoye

Internal Auditor

Mathew is the Head Internal Audit & Control reporting to MD/ CEO and the Board of Audit and Governance Committee. Matthew has a B.SC in Economics from Lagos State University. He is Chartered Accountant and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)

He is an Audit and Finance professional with close to 20 years of working experience in various reputable industries that cut across Power, Telecommunication, Finance & Investment and Trading Companies.

Prior to join Transafam, he had worked as an Accountant with Raholat Enterprises Nigeria Limited, and Later with Crownrise Finace & Investment Plc has Head of Finance before heading to Globacom Nig. Limited a company he served for Eight years both in Glo Nigeria and Glomobile Ghana where he resigned as Head Technical Audit.

With his quest for more in his career he took more responsibilities in other establishments and move to Sapele Power Plc, where he became the Head Internal Audit and was responsible for overseeing the Internal Audit functions in the Organization by providing independent and objective assurance on the management of risks throughout the organization.

Olufemi Sami

Chief Financial Officer

Olufemi is an astute professional with over 15 years of experience in finance and accounting. He holds an Executive MBA from Rome Business School, an MSc in Finance from the University of Lagos, and a BSc in Economics from Lagos State University. Additionally, he is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) and an Associate Member of the International Institute of Certified Forensic Accountants, USA.

Before joining the Transcorp Group, Olufemi served as the Finance Controller for West Africa at Mondelez International, the parent company of Cadbury Nigeria Plc. His previous roles include Financial Planning & Analysis Manager at Danone, the parent company of Fanmilk Plc, and Country Finance Manager at Cambridge University Press Limited. He also has experience in treasury, finance, internal control, and internal audit roles at C&I Leasing Plc and IGI Plc.

John Awoniyi

Head Resources

John is the Head of Resources for the organization. He is responsible for providing oversight for the effective development and management of the resources of the company. He is the primary driver of the Human Resource Management function and oversees the other following functions; Information & Communication Technology & Corporate Services (Facilities Management, Admin and School, Clinic, Logistics) units.

His expertise cuts across the areas of Talent Management, Resources Management, and Competency Management. He has over 10 years of experience in Human Resources and Administration. Prior to joining Transafam Power Limited, he worked with Food Concepts Plc where he was a Regional Human Resources Business Partner.

John is an Associate Member of The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM).

Vincent Ozoude

MD/CEO

Vincent Ozoude is the MD/CEO of Transafam Power Limited. He was appointed on February 1st, 2021, to lead the newly acquired 966MW Power plant asset located in Afam, Oyigbo Rivers State. He will lead the team to bring in the transformation of the Transafam Power asset into a notable leading power generation company in Nigeria and West Africa.

Prior to this role, Vincent was the Services Sales Director covering the entire Sub-Saharan Africa for General Electric Power Generation Services portfolio, a role he managed for two years. Vincent comes with 15 years of work experience in General Electric International Operations with vast experience in the various business segments such as services, operations, sales, and commercial segments of the business.

Vincent started his GE career as a Field Engineer to Project Manager and at some point, a member of the Field Engineering advisory board for Africa, India & Middle East while in the services arm of the business. He later moved on to the operations arm to become the Sub Sahara Africa Repair Service Manager and later moved to the Sales – Commercial arm where he rose to become the Sub-Saharan Africa Sales Director covering nearly 300 Gas Turbine installed base fleets across numerous GE customers in the region.

Vincent led numerous successful complex projects while in the GE service arm such as the first Gas Turbine modular change out (Flange to Flange replacement) on a Frame 7EA Train 1 production plant at Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas complex in Bonny Island.

With over 20 years of work experience, Vincent holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Enugu State University and is currently completing an M.Eng in Chemical Engineering from the same Institution. He is a member of the Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE), and the Council for the Regulations of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and is a green belt (Lean Six Sigma) certified.

Dr. Stanley I. Lawson is the Managing Partner of Financial Advisory and Investment Consultants; an oil & gas-sector focused financial advisory services firm.

He spent the early years of his career as a Resident Geologist/Drilling Engineer after which he proceeded to the Banking/Finance Industry where he spent over 17 years rising to the position of Managing Director/Chief Executive of African Express Bank in 2003.

Dr. Lawson also served as Group Executive Director, Finance and Accounts at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), a position he held for almost five years.

He holds an M.Sc. degree in Petroleum Geology, an MBA degree in Finance both from the University of Ibadan as well as a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, Arizona. He is a widely-respected expert with multi-disciplinary professional experience spanning over three decades in the energy and financial sectors.

He had core responsibilities for funding, budgeting, and cash flow planning. He also served on the Board of the CBN as a member of the Monetary Policy Committee between 2014 and 2016.

Chris Ezeafulukwe

Non-Executive Director

Christopher Ezeafulukwe is the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Transcorp Energy Limited. Prior to his appointment, he served as the MD/CEO of Abuja Electricity Distribution Company, MD/CEO of Transcorp Power Plc, and as an Executive Director of Transnational Corporation Plc, where he was responsible for Business Development and Legal. He was also a Non-Executive Director at Transcorp Power Plc.

With over 19 years of experience, he is responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategic initiatives for Transcorp Energy Limited. His responsibilities include overseeing the company’s operations, driving growth in the energy sector, and ensuring the alignment of business objectives with regulatory requirements.

He is an alumnus of Lagos Business School, Lagos, and IESE Business School, Barcelona. He holds an LL.B degree from the University of Lagos, a B.L from the Nigerian Law School, an LL.M from the University of Lagos, and a second LL.M in Energy, Environmental & Natural Resources Law from the University of Houston, Texas. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN), Association of International Petroleum.

Dr. Tony Chukwueke

Anthony ‘Tony’ Chukwueke is a business executive and the Chairman of Sterling Energy and Exploration Production Limited (SEEPCO).

With over 38 years of experience that spans service with The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria, Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources, Directorate of Petroleum Resources, Tenoil Petroleum and Energy Resources, and Heirs Holdings.

He holds an MSC. in Applied Geophysics and a doctorate in Geology from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

He is regarded as one of the most knowledgeable Nigerians in the petroleum sector, having served as Nigeria’s Director of Petroleum Resources (DPR), the industry regulator from 2005 – 2009.

Owen Omogiafo

Dr. Owen Omogiafo OON is the President and Group CEO of Transcorp Plc. She has over 15 years of experience in the corporate sector, with a focus on human resources, management, and strategy. Prior to her appointment at Transcorp, she held senior positions at the Tony Elumelu Foundation and Heirs Holdings Limited. She is a certified Change Manager and a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, the Prosci Institute, and the Institute of Directors (IoD) Nigeria.

Peter Ikenga

Non-Executive Director

Peter Ikenga is currently the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Transcorp Power Plc. He is resolutely committed to advancing the transformation of the Ughelli Power Plant, with the ultimate goal of establishing it as the leading power generation company in Nigeria and the broader West African region.

Peter is a value-driven and result-oriented oil and gas professional with a wealth of global experience, having directly developed or managed major oil, gas and power assets and operations in multiple regions including Nigeria, Brazil, and United States of America. Prior to joining Transcorp, he was Refining Director for Niger Delta Exploration and Production Limited.

Peter’s oil and gas industry experience spans upstream, midstream, and downstream. He previously held senior technical, business, and commercial leadership positions in new business/asset development, project management, engineering management and operations support. His roles include developing multi-billion-dollar projects, managing non-operated asset portfolio, overseeing strategic acquisition opportunities, negotiating contracts and strategic partnerships, optimising production operations and leading the full execution, construction, and commissioning of major projects.

Peter earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Federal University of Technology Owerri, Nigeria and a Master of Business Administration degree from The University of Texas at Austin, United States of America.

Emmanuel N. Nnorom

Mr. Emmanuel N. Nnorom joined the Board of Transcorp Power on 30 January 2014. He is the Group Chief Executive Officer of Heirs Holdings Limited. He previously served as President/CEO of Transcorp Plc, overseeing the Transcorp businesses. Prior to Transcorp, Emmanuel served as an Executive Director and Managing Director at United Bank for Africa (UBA)

Emmanuel is a qualified Chartered Accountant and brings over three decades of professional experience in the corporate and financial sectors, working with publicly listed companies.
